Objectives in house training
To provide a framework and mindset for Value Creation in all new products and service offerings, covering the Customer Value Model, tools and best practices. The framework will be linked to the participant’s own experience and projects and focuses on:

  • Creating a business minded approach in all projects resulting in profitable launches

The value of the Value Model at Nokia
The co-operation with Nokia leads back to 1998. Initially the value of the Professional Project Management part was recognized and frequent training’s were started. First within Nokia Networks, then quite fast increasing the audience to all parts of Nokia.

The flexibility and good adaptability of the project management part has been its strength and advantage. Training sessions have been slightly tailored utilizing several Nokia specific practical examples and emphasizing the biggest oppor-tunities in engineers’ competence development. The Value Model blends well with our company’s cultural stage-gate thinking. 

Lately, other parts of the Value Model such as Product and Service Concepting have received growing attention within Nokia. The increasing demand of the training modules proves the value: the adaptability of the Value Model – piecewise or as a whole mindset.
