The last conceptual phase is called Make the journey a safe one! Our traffic lights are now at green, indicating that the way ahead is clear and we can move off towards our objective via the roads of good management. Project Management is aimed at producing and utilising a project control and follow up system. It is an infrastructure that allows the project to be followed up, monitored and managed.
 
As project leader, the control and follow up system may have considerable influence on your personal future work schedule. If the procedures aren’t good enough you are the one who will have to fill in the gaps, chase missing information and check current situations. These activities can be very time consuming. Perhaps this time could have been used more effectively. Perhaps these activities might end up consuming your free time.
